A Year Gone By

And thus a whole year passed.

Little did I realize that, here online a Blog lay undisturbed.

Waiting to be written on.

Waiting in vain.

Or at least so we all thought.

A resolution of years gone by has been revived. And here follows not only the story of how it was done, but also of what this resolution is.

I have a secret to confess.
It might not be as shocking as you might imagine, yet I've never really admitted it before.
Not that it's a sin or anything, but you see the thing is...
I'm a bit of a romanticist.
I love, now I'm talking about seriously LOVE, romantic things.
Especially romantic stories.
Now there it is! I admitted it... It wasn't that hard actually. :)

So with that off my chest I do believe I may proceed with my story.

A few years ago I borrowed an absolutely beautiful love storybook from a friend.
And still vaguely remembering the story after all these years, I decided to borrow the story again the other day.
It was tragic.
The first page grated on my mind like chalk on a black board.
I couldn't believe my eyes.
What is the world coming to??
How can mankind forgive itself for even printing books that are so badly written?
And after a bit of examination I realized that there was no storyline either.
Okay Okay I'm exaggerating, but seriously! I felt deceived!
As a child I had thought that that was good literature.
Deceived indeed.
I thank you Jane Austen for properly educating me.

But long story short. Reading the first page of this sad excuse of a book, I realized that it might be quite possible to write books of my own. And it might even be successfull.

And thus pondering the idea over a few Dr. Seuss poems I thought to myself:
"Why not become an author?"

Long story short. The newest item on my extensive bucket list is: Write a Novel.

Thank you and goodnight :)
